Itenary Details

Kolkata Airport – City Hotel

Meet & Greet on arrival at Airport by our representative transfer to hotel. Check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Kolkata.

Kolkata – Sundarban (100 kms + River Cruise)

After early breakfast transfer to Sonakhali / Godkhali through the rural villages of Bengal. From Godkhali depart by Boat to Sajnekhali - one of the entry points of Sundarban National Park. After noon visit Sajnekhali Watch Tower. Overnight stay at Sundarban.

Sundarban Sightseeing

After breakfast enjoy a thrilling Boat Cruise inside creeks and dense mangrove forest (or breakfast on boat during cruise) through numerous rivers while visiting Do-banki Watch Tower where the canopy walk inside the forest sends chill down your body (experience the life in which caged animals live in, while getting an all around view of the forest). Also visit the Spotted Deer Rehabilitation Centre. After which we cruise through Matla – Sea Face (the point from where Bay of Bengal can be seen) –Cruising back through the 5 river junction - to Pitchkhali. (Lunch on Boat during Cruise). Evening back to resort & rest of the day at leisure. (Or enjoy Folk Dance by Local Artists only for Group). Overnight stay at Sundarban.

Day 04: Sundarban – Kolkata (100 kms + River Cruise)

After breakfast Visit to Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower and Cruise through Rivers and Narrow Creeks of Pitchkhali- Sarakhkhali - Sudhanokhali - Bonobibi Dharani (narrow creek) and visit the Watch-Tower followed by a cruise around the Islands of the Sunderban Tiger Project Area, Enjoy a Panoramic View from Watch Tower. After lunch (Lunch on Boat during Cruise) departure for Sonakhali /Godkhali by Boat. Arrival at Sonakhali/GothKhali & Departure for Kolkata by Car. Check in at hotel. Overnight stay at Kolkata.

 

Day 05: Kolkata City Tour

After breakfast start for full day Kolkata city tour. Howrah Bridge, Belur Math, Vivekananda Setu, Dakshineswar Temple, GPO, Writers Building, Eden Garden Stadium, St. Pauls Cathedral Church, Victoria Memorial Hall, Mother House & Birla Temple. You can take a River Cruise on Ganges at your own cost. Overnight stay at Kolkata.

 

Belur Math is the headquarters of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, founded by Swami Vivekananda, the chief disciple of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. It is located on the west bank of Hooghly River, Belur, West Bengal, India and is one of the significant institutions in Kolkata.

 

Dakshineswar Kali Temple is a Hindu navaratna temple located at Dakshineswar. Situated on the eastern bank of the Hooghly River, the presiding deity of the temple is Bhavatarini, a form of Parashakti Adya Kali, otherwise known as Adishakti Kalika. The temple was built in 1855 by Rani Rashmoni, a philanthropist and a devotee of Kali. The temple is known for its association with Ramakrishna and Ma Sarada Devi, mystics of 19th Century Bengal.

 

The Victoria Memorial is a large marble building in Kolkata, which was built between 1906 and 1921. It is dedicated to the memory of Empress Victoria, and is now a museum under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture.The memorial lies on the Maidan and is one of the famous monuments of Kolkata.

 

The Writers' Buildings, often shortened to just Writers', is the official secretariat building of the state government of West Bengal in Kolkata, India. The 150-meter long building covers the entire northern stretch of the iconic Lal Dighi pond at the centre of historic B.B.D. Bagh, long considered as the administrative and business hub of the city.

 

Day 06: Kolkata Hotel – Kolkata Airport

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to the Kolkata Airport for onwards journey.

 

General Terms and Conditions for Booking

  • Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations. Travelers littering may be fined.
  • All international and domestic airfare, visa fees, airport tax, or any kind of insurance cover is not a part of the package.
  • 5% GST is applicable to the package cost.
  • Standard check in time at the hotels is 12 PM and check out time is 9 AM.
  • The Vehicle will be available only till 8 PM.
  • Meals other than those specified are an exclusion to the package.
  • Vehicles will be provided as per the group size.
  • ACs don't work in Hilly Areas as the climate is moderate.
  • Hotels are subject to availability and if they are unavailable, guests will be accommodated in similar property.
  • Monument entry fee and camera charges are not included in the package.
  • Children above 5 years of age will be considered as adults only. There are no charges for children below 5 years of age.
  • Govt. Approved ID is mandatory for each guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
  • All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
  • Prices might greatly vary on Blackout Dates(special dates like Diwali, Christmas, New Years, etc). In order to get the best rates for these days you can connect with us directly.
  • The prices may vary based on the season time and the number of travellers travelling per day in a specific region as there is limited hotel availability in hilly areas.
  • Any deviation from the planned route of vehicle at customer's request during the tour will be chargeable on per Km. basis.
  • Any breakage or damage of any items at the hotels/resorts/camps will be charged at actuals.
  • Personal expenses like portages, tips, laundry, mineral water etc. will not be accommodated in the package cost.
  • TravelWholeIndia reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary due to any kind of disturbances that might occur (i.e. severe weather conditions, political unrests or others).
  • Any rescheduling/rearrangement of package due to circumstances beyond TravelwholeIndia's control might invite additional charges for hotels and/or vehicle.
  • In case a traveler wants to or decides to leave the trip in the middle, all the expenses from that point onwards will be borne by the traveler. Neither the operator norTravelwholeIndia will be held responsible for such decisions or for any refund.
  • The extra adventure activities and ropeways/cable cars will be at your own cost and are not included in the tour unless specified exclusively in the inclusions of the product.
  • The driver might turn off the AC on hilly terrains as it might become difficult to drive on such roads.

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellation is made 30 days or more before the date of travel, 25.0% of total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellation is made between 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel, 50.0% of total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellation is made within 15 days before the date of travel, total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
