Itenary Details

Arrive Kolkata

On arrival at Kolkata airport meet and Greet by our representative and transfer to the hotel. After refresh visit Eden Garden Stadium, St. Pauls Cathedral Church, Victoria Memorial Hall then come back to hotel & Overnight stay at Kolkata hotel. St. Paul's Cathedral is a Church of North India (CNI) cathedral of Anglican background in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, noted for its Gothic architecture and dedicated to Paul the Apostle. It is the seat of the Diocese of Calcutta. The cornerstone was laid in 1839; the building was completed in 1847. It is said to be the largest church in Kolkata and the first Anglican cathedral in Asia. It was also the first new-built cathedral in the overseas territory of the British Empire. The edifice stands on Cathedral Road on the "island of attractions" to provide for more space for the growing population of the European community in Calcutta in the 1800s. The Victoria Memorial is a large marble building in Kolkata, which was built between 1906 and 1921. It is dedicated to the memory of Empress Victoria, and is now a museum under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture.The memorial lies on the Maidan and is one of the famous monuments of Kolkata.

Kolkata – Sundarban (100 kms + River Cruise)

Morning will drive to Basanti through the rural villages of Bengal. Arrive Basanti by the breakfast time. Post breakfast we will take a Boat for Sajnekhali, one of the entry points of sanctuary. Lunch serve on Boat. After noon at 15:00 hrs visit Sudhanyakhali watch tower. Evening free to explore the surrounding. Overnight stay forest camp / lodge.

Sunderban National Park

After breakfast Visit to Netidhopani / Burirdhabri Watch tower & cruise through the creeks and around the cluster of islands of Sunderban Tiger Project Area. Lunch serve on Boat. Visit crocodile project Full day excursion inside the forest to search the famous Royal Bengal Tiger Enjoy the wildlife viewing in forest from different watchtowers. Overnight stay forest camp / lodge.

Sunderban - Kolkata - Guwahati

After breakfast Boat cruise to Do-banki Watch tower & proceed to Basanti. On arrival at Basanti drive to Kolkata. On arrival transfer to the airport to board the flight for Guwahati. On arrival at Guwahati airport you will be met with our representative and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Guwahati - Manas National park (200 km / 4 ½ hrs)

Today we will drive to Manas national park with a traveling distance of around 4 ½ hrs, situated on the foothills of the Himalaya, in the north bank of the Brahmaputra river in Assam. It lies on the international border with Bhutan. On arrival check in at forest resort. In the after jungle safari to the national park to explore its flora & fauna. Overnight stay at resort. Manas is the most stunning pristine wildlife habitat in India, comparable to the best in the world in the beauty of its spectacular landscape. It is bounded on the north by the Royal Manas National Park in Bhutan, on the south by populous North Kamrup district and on both east and west by buffer forest reserves which are part of 2,840 sq. Km Manas Tiger reserve. It was created as a project tiger reserve in the year 1973 and declared national park in the year 1973. It is also a UNESCO Natural World Heritage (in danger) site, a Project Tiger Reserve,and a Biosphere Reserve - a unique distinction. This Brahmaputra Valley semi-evergreen forest Terrestrial Eco-region is also the richest in species of all Indian wildlife areas and the only known home for the rare and endangered Assam Roofed Turtle, Hispid Hare, Golden Langur and Pygmy Hog.

Remarks On Itenary

Day 06 : Manas Tiger Reserve

This morning we will start our day little early and will move to the Elephant boarding point for our first Jungle ride (subject to availability) to the Manas National Park on an Elephant back. The one hour Elephant safari will take us to the dense and narrow paths to increasing the chances of animal sighting. Later we will return to the hotel/resort for fresh-n-up and breakfast. After breakfast we will be ready for our half day Jeep Safari to the national park between Bansbari to Mathanguri Range. Return to hotel and rest of the day at leisure. In the later afternoon, proceed for a nature walk in and around the park. Overnight stay at hotel.

Manas national park is habitat for 55 mammals, 50 reptiles and three amphibians species. At least 33 of its animals listed as threatened by the IUCN, this is the greatest number of any protected area in the country. These threatened species are the Assam Roofed turtle Kachuga sylhetensis, Golden Langur Presbytis geei, Hispid Hare Caprolagus hispidus, Pygmy Hog Sus salvanius and the only pure strain of Asiatic Wild Buffalo Bubalus arnee.

Note: Jungle Safari in Manas National Park officially opens from 01st November but May & October (Partially Open), November to April (Best season), June to September (Closed).

Day 07 : Manas - Guwahati (200 km/05 hrs)

Before heading to Guwahati we will explore the surrounding again for its wildlife. Check out from hotel and further continue drive to Guwahati. On arrival check in at the hotel. In the evening enjoy sunset cruise on river Brahmaputra. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 08 : Guwahati - Nameri National park (240 km / 5.5 hrs)

Today we will drive to the most beautiful parks of Assam, Nameri national Park covering an area of 200 Sq. Kms nestled at the foothills of Eastern Himalayas. On arrival check into, camp. Evening explore the surrounding around the camp site. Overnight in camp.

Nameri National Park covers an area of 200 Sq. Kms. With river Jia Bhoroli bifurcating the park, it is the most scenic of all the national parks of Assam. Its in the eastern border of Assam in the valley and mountainous Arunachal Pradesh, Nameri is home to some of the endangered species like white winged wood duck, Sloth Bear, Tiger Leopard, Clouded Leopard, Sambar, Gaur, Indian Wild Dog, four varieties of Hornbill and many other winged species.

Day 09 : Nameri National Park

After breakfast we will go on a fascinating river rafting on Jia Bhoralli River. For the same we will drive from the resort towards the river upstream, from where we will enjoy the downstream rafting on the inflatable raft. Here we will have a chance to see a lot of migratory waterfowl and if you are so lucky then one can even spot the Royal Bengal Tiger and the Elephant on the banks of the river from the boat. The stretch of rafting will takes around two hours. After the river rafting return to the camp/resort/hotel. Afternoon we will go on a nature trail along the reserve. Here we will be accompanied with the knowledgeable forest guides and armed forest guards. The forest treks are the best way to explore the Nameri National Park as it allows you to get very close to the wildlife life. Here once can spot the rare species of white-winged wood ducks and the great hornbill. Evening return to the camp/resort/hotel. Overnight stay at Nameri.

 

Day 10 : Nameri - Kaziranga National Park (140 km / 2.5 hrs)

Today after breakfast we will leave for the Rhino country, Kazirnaga national park which is mainly famous for Indian one Horned Rhinoceros. Located on the banks of the mighty Brahmaputra River in the far North East of India, Assam, with covering an area of approximately 430-sq-kms, with its swamps and tall thickets of grass, making Kaziranga National Park the ideal habitat for the Indian One-Horned Rhino. Due to limitless poaching of this prehistoric survivor, the Kaziranga National Park was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1940.

On arrival check in at the wildlife resort. In the afternoon Jeep safari to the National park for wildlife viewing. Overnight stay at resort.

Day 11 : Kaziranga National Park

Today will awake a little early with a wake call, half hrs before we will head for our morning jungle safari (05:30 am to 06:30 am), to the national park for wildlife viewing. Return back to resort for breakfast. After breakfast jeep safari (either central or western range). Return to lodge for lunch. After lunch jeep safari (if visited central range in the morning then western range or vice versa. Overnight stay at wildlife resort.

Apart from the great one horned Indian Rhino, the other major wild attractions Indian Bison, Swamp Deer or Barasingha, Hog Deer, Sloth Bears, Tigers, Leopard Cats, Jungle Cats, Otters, Hog Badgers, Capped Langurs, Hoolock Gibbons, Wild Boar, Jackal, Wild Buffalo, Pythons, Monitor Lizards, etc.

Day 12 : Kaziranga National Park

We will continue with our wild safari with kaziranga on the consecutive day to explore the more wildlife. We will be doing the jungle safari as per the very previous day. We will enter twice to the national park visiting either central or western range first. Overnight stay at resort.

Day 13 : Kaziranga - Kolkata

Early morning jungle safari (05:30 am to 06:30 am) to the national park for wildlife viewing. Later return to the resort for breakfast. After breakfast drive to Guwahati. On arrival transfer to airport to board the flight for Kolkata to connect with onward connection.Upon arrival at Kolkata meeting and assistance followed by transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 14 : Kolkata Depart

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to international airport to connect flight for onward destination.

General Terms and Conditions for Booking

  • Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations. Travelers littering may be fined.
  • All international and domestic airfare, visa fees, airport tax, or any kind of insurance cover is not a part of the package.
  • 5% GST is applicable to the package cost.
  • Standard check in time at the hotels is 12 PM and check out time is 9 AM.
  • The Vehicle will be available only till 8 PM.
  • Meals other than those specified are an exclusion to the package.
  • Vehicles will be provided as per the group size.
  • ACs don't work in Hilly Areas as the climate is moderate.
  • Hotels are subject to availability and if they are unavailable, guests will be accommodated in similar property.
  • Monument entry fee and camera charges are not included in the package.
  • Children above 5 years of age will be considered as adults only. There are no charges for children below 5 years of age.
  • Govt. Approved ID is mandatory for each guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
  • All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
  • Prices might greatly vary on Blackout Dates(special dates like Diwali, Christmas, New Years, etc). In order to get the best rates for these days you can connect with us directly.
  • The prices may vary based on the season time and the number of travellers travelling per day in a specific region as there is limited hotel availability in hilly areas.
  • Any deviation from the planned route of vehicle at customer's request during the tour will be chargeable on per Km. basis.
  • Any breakage or damage of any items at the hotels/resorts/camps will be charged at actuals.
  • Personal expenses like portages, tips, laundry, mineral water etc. will not be accommodated in the package cost.
  • TravelWholeIndia reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary due to any kind of disturbances that might occur (i.e. severe weather conditions, political unrests or others).
  • Any rescheduling/rearrangement of package due to circumstances beyond TravelwholeIndia's control might invite additional charges for hotels and/or vehicle.
  • In case a traveler wants to or decides to leave the trip in the middle, all the expenses from that point onwards will be borne by the traveler. Neither the operator nor TravelwholeIndia will be held responsible for such decisions or for any refund.
  • The extra adventure activities and ropeways/cable cars will be at your own cost and are not included in the tour unless specified exclusively in the inclusions of the product.
  • The driver might turn off the AC on hilly terrains as it might become difficult to drive on such roads.

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellation is made 30 days or more before the date of travel, 25.0% of total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellation is made between 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel, 50.0% of total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellation is made within 15 days before the date of travel, total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
