Nestled amongst the beautiful mountains of Kashmir, Gulmarg boasts of one of the highest ski lifts in the world and the best slopes in the country. Have you ever pictured yourself speeding down vast snow slopes with the gigantic Himalayan Mountains in the backdrop? The Basic Skiing Course in Gulmarg is the best option to get introduced to the sport of skiing and spend a wonderful winter in the Kashmir Himalayas. Getting your skiing to the next level is our goal with this program. It is best suited for people who already have basic skills in skiing and are comfortable with slightly higher slope gradients and now are looking at getting to the higher powder bowls of the mountain. The intermediate course in Skiing will teach you all the steps necessary to acquire an advanced certificate in skiing. The participants will learn about skills like carving, edging, short and long parallel turns, rotation, edging and cover Core Competencies in more detail. This is not any regular ski course. It is conducted by some of the most highly experienced and esteemed professionals of Skiing. Our chief instructors are - Mustaq Ahmed, one of the most qualified backcountry ski guides in the whole of Gulmarg who has been skiing since the early 80s with an experience of 25+ years in ski instruction; Mahmood Lone who happens to be a highly experienced backcountry ski guide and one among the only 5 certified national ski coaches in India. Some of the other highly qualified ski instructors involved in this ski course are - Javed Reshi, Rafiq, Jahangir, Saba and Jayant Mohanty. Among the only 16 backcountry guides in India, 3 of them are on our panel. Participants in our ski courses will be provided with a Certificate of Participation, Graduation and merit certificate with grades A/B/C to those who complete all lessons and pass the tests as well as a Certificate from J&K tourism. Day 05: Stance and Balance and get an introduction to the Core Competencies

Your first two training days will be focused around refreshing your personal Ski/snowboard skills. You’ll get to correct your Stance and Balance and get an introduction to the Core Competencies.

Day 06: Learn Intermediate Level skills and cover core competencies in more details

You will learn intermediate level skills like carving, edging, short and long parellel turns, rotation, edging and cover Core Competencies in more detail. One Indoor sessions will include ‘Leadership Training’ and the ‘Forces in Skiing’. Video Analysis will be a chance to identify areas for personal improvement. By the end of this training block you have an understanding of the intermediate level skills and the level 2 course standards.

Day 09: Skiing Competition

Skiing competition would be held and course certificate would be awarded.

Day 10: Depart from Gulmarg

After Breakfast check out from hotel and drop to Srinagar airport for your onwards Journey.

• Avoid using plastic bags and maintain the ecological balance of the destinations. Travelers littering may be fined.
• All international and domestic airfare, visa fees, airport tax, or any kind of insurance cover is not a part of the package.
• 5% GST is applicable to the package cost.
• Standard check in time at the hotels is 12 PM and check out time is 9 AM.
• The Vehicle will be available only till 8 PM.
• Meals other than those specified are an exclusion to the package.
• Vehicles will be provided as per the group size.
• ACs don't work in Hilly Areas as the climate is moderate.
• Hotels are subject to availability and if they are unavailable, guests will be accommodated in similar property.
• Monument entry fee and camera charges are not included in the package.
• Children above 5 years of age will be considered as adults only. There are no charges for children below 5 years of age.
• Govt. Approved ID is mandatory for each guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
• All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
• Prices might greatly vary on Blackout Dates(special dates like Diwali, Christmas, New Years, etc). In order to get the best rates for these days you can connect with us directly.
• The prices may vary based on the season time and the number of travellers travelling per day in a specific region as there is limited hotel availability in hilly areas.
• Any deviation from the planned route of vehicle at customer's request during the tour will be chargeable on per Km. basis.
• Any breakage or damage of any items at the hotels/resorts/camps will be charged at actuals.
• Personal expenses like portages, tips, laundry, mineral water etc. will not be accommodated in the package cost.
• TravelWholeIndia reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary due to any kind of disturbances that might occur (i.e. severe weather conditions, political unrests or others).
• Any rescheduling/rearrangement of package due to circumstances beyond TravelwholeIndia's control might invite additional charges for hotels and/or vehicle.
• In case a traveler wants to or decides to leave the trip in the middle, all the expenses from that point onwards will be borne by the traveler. Neither the operator nor TravelwholeIndia will be held responsible for such decisions or for any refund.
• The extra adventure activities and ropeways/cable cars will be at your own cost and are not included in the tour unless specified exclusively in the inclusions of the product.
• The driver might turn off the AC on hilly terrains as it might become difficult to drive on such roads.

• If cancellation is made 30 days or more before the date of travel, 25.0% of total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellation is made between 15 days to 30 days before the date of travel, 50.0% of total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
• If cancellation is made within 15 days before the date of travel, total booking cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
